I think 4-8 as a general rule with some spots picking up 8+.   Tuesday night is viable still considering today is 108 hours out still.  The VDay system should be juicy.  Anyone who stays all snow with that will have a pile by next weekend!

BOS has a meaty 50% of the ensemble members between 4 and 6 inches. Only 14% less than 4. Nice long tail on the high side.

Well here is the 12z GF bufkit for BDL. I'll just stick with my 4-7" forecast though I think 4-5" amounts will be the more common across Connecticut with the best chance for 6-8" totals northwards (like where Scott mentioned).

But you can see that the window for heavy snow/highest rates is confined to a very small window and and outside of the greatest lift there isn't a whole heck of a lot.

No man I'm not that new LOL. I've been on here for several years. I just don't have the same knowledge as some of these guys. I listen and ask questions. But what I have learned is the amount of people who pounce on you. If you don't ask the right question, or the meltdowns ( which I myself have had ) And definitely getting to know the different characteristics of each person. I was just making the statement because it was getting a little unhinged there.

100%. Unhinged is what we do

Stick with it…4-8/4-7 is a good forecast. Stop fretting.

It's never easy down here.....just when you think it is within 48 hrs and almost a slam dunk, we slip on some moisture and lose the ball out of bounds. Still time to go on this one, but this is where we were with the last one and we didn't want to believe it. Over/under here is probably 4" right now

Stick with the big boys…they look fine. Too many models sometimes isn’t good. GFS looks fine/so does Euro.

No easy days. Still fine, but we don’t want anymore ticks.

4-8 still looks good, but we shouldn’t totally discount high resolution guidance if it refuses to play ball, especially as we get closer. We’re probably fine, but it’s worth an eye imo. It would be good to have a warning verify statewide. These have to hit good if we want a shot at climo.

I Don’t disagree…but for me it’s more about the experience now going forward with this pattern. If I get 6 and not 8 out of this it’s not gonna bother me at all.   If I pick up several more and I mix on Thursday…I don’t really care either.  And whatever happens Tuesday ??    As FXWX said…just enjoy this upcoming stretch.  That’s what I plan to do.
