You're not whiffing with a vort tracking over our fannies...what is going on in here?

The sane thing that always does….somebody mentions a whiff by the NAM…and in a few posts it’s a POS and missing, and then we have posts  saying the next one misses too. What a place.  Ridiculous.

Speeding up in time starts in CT between 6-8pm Saturday night.. has the EURO look of a 4 hour thump of heavy snow .. Has a crazy fronto band along mass VT/NH border likely 2-3" per hour rates..

Good....would love to clear things up Sunday, too many basketball games to reschedule if we have to cancel on Sunday. Another overnight event, besides today, most have come at night this year.

Another one we can’t get to linger and hang precip back long. I miss those

Fast flow. You don’t get lingering storms…on the coast it might prolong a bit with the 925-850 flow trying to enhance things and almost an IVT look as it departs. But otherwise it’s a quick hitter. Best chance for prolonged snow  is maybe we can get some prolonged overrunning next week for a time. But often it ends up focusing into a narrower window.

Oh, not saying it won't accumulate....but 29⁰ on February 16th will accumulate better at night than at 1pm, especially in sun exposed areas. Q

Nah..not at all.  Have to disagree..especially on 2/16 which is prime climo. And any difference at all would be negligible.

See April 4th 2016 in down town Boston with all powder snow in the height of the afternoon, no issues accumulating.
