Not sure I’ve ever seen a sleet line refuse to budge for hours like this to the west. Models nailed it too.

Saw a report of 2.8 inches in Central Park at 10:40. If that verifies it at least puts them at 10.1 for the season

Two single digit totals in a row was a first, would be nice for them not to make it three in a row.

Sleet mixed in for about 15 minutes and back to snow.  Will probably end up with 4" or so.

The last hour has been a rollercoaster with precip flipping back and forth between moderate to heavy freezing rain and sleet at 30F.  Crazy storm with the back edge of the precip approaching.

It’s just been terrible here. Hope something else materializes before winter ends.

Awesome how the sleet raises a fist and gets knocked down for NW Suffolk and N Shore. Still a pelting here, some rain mixed in but heavier is sleet.

Great little storm. It's been a pretty good winter locally, at around 15" now with a White Christmas and plenty of cold. Best winter since 2022 by a mile.

Its still light sneet falling. Its cold too,temps really havent budged from the start. Def helped out the initial ratios and no liquid equivalent wasted. If it had been all snow ,we have 6+ easily up here. As it stands 4+ is a winner.
