dailylurker
Great to see much needed rain overnight and this morning. Looks like the heaviest is in Northern Virginia. That’s been the trend this winter. I'm sure there's some ice on branches but more of a beneficial rain than ice event.

mappy
If anyone was watching WBAL at 615, I had a nice shoutout from Ava during her weather hit. She texted me asking to check my driveway, so I waddled out there to see how icy it was. 9

MN Transplant
Paved surfaces are fine but when we get a little more light the trees are going to look spectacular. This could have been a huge mess at 28 rather than 31 degrees.

Precip was falling pretty heavily when I woke up at 530, so most was just running off. But I got down to 28 around 3am so when rates are lighter, it’s freezing to everything.

diatae
32/32. Moderate freezing rain. My young magnolia out front is draped with a little ice but I can't see much elsewhere. More sunlight will help. Rain has been heavy at times.
