MN Transplant
31.3. I can see some glaze on elevated surfaces. However I’m still getting precip readings from the tipping bucket, which means it isn’t frozen over. So, pretty much what we all thought was going to happen. Interstate
One area in particular that is seeing a brunt of the action is far western Maryland. Upstream radar echoes have been rather intense and accompanied by a slew of lightning strikes. Although trends have shown some weakening of this activity, lightning data still shows a number of strikes near western Garrett County. Will maintain the threat for thunder across the Alleghenies the next several hours, particularly in light of the robust nature of precipitation cores over central West Virginia. CAPE
31. All freezing rain since the start. Icy on the deck but don't think roads will be a problem. Should go above freezing in the next couple hours.

MillvilleWx
Just drove home from College Park. Main roads fine. Davidsonville Rd to the west of Annapolis/Edgewater had some trees sag to the ground going southbound so a County officer had to block the road so no one would hit it. Had to go around, but that was the worst ice in the area. 33/33 with light to moderate rain most of the way home. Non-event for the lowlands, as expected.
