It was very last minute, the NAMs were all over the place then last night pulled the rug mostly and the HRRR dried out quite a bit and decreased the front end thump. The weird showery look on the pcp shield always gave me pause and bad snow growth (though it looked better for a time yesterday on some runs) and warmer air surging in fast typically with these events.
