StantonParkHoya
Every February I start a thread to document the signs of spring as the sun shifts across the sky, days get longer, UV levels rise, daffodils bloom, and thoughts turn from fire logs and snow to dogwoods and baseball — speaking of, pitchers and catchers report to spring training in a couple weeks. Leave your obs or thoughts here.

suzook Posted yesterday at 02:22 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:22 PM I have greenish Bermuda on the side of the house that gets sun all day. I also see my daylilies starting to pop out of the ground. That extremely warm last week of Jan, and 1st week of Feb really cranked up the ground temps. With a low of 17 this morning, ground temps back down to 38.
UnionCountyNCWX Posted yesterday at 03:41 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:41 PM The ditch in front of my house is fully green with tall grass that the NCDOT planted. Now if only they could finish the road they're working on next to said ditch that they haven't touched in 6 months so I could actually mow the ditch, that'd be GREAT.
