87storms
Looks like clouds are breaking up to the west. Maybe we can get an afternoon temp spike.
dailylurker
The trend of not being able to buy a raindrop continues. The next 10 days looks extremely boring. When's the last time we had a coastal storm? 2016?

When's the last time we had a coastal storm? 2016? This runoff holding pond in my neighborhood is at late summer drought levels right now. You can see where the water level was and should be in the winter and spring. Here we go again.
wxdude64
Only a half-degree from 60 at 2:30 pm. Currently 59.5/32.3. Edit: would be first +60 since 12/10/
BlizzardNole
Gorgeous afternoon once the clouds cleared out. Might have made a run at 70 without the clouds earlier. Time to think of what to grill outside for dinner!

IronTy
67F today, seems we don't have the easterly breeze component today so temps by the water aren't much cooler than the mainland. Barred owls hooting too, almost nesting season.

wxdude64
29.1 here this morning. Last few days should have been a big help to the sugar runs of the maples with cool nights and warm sunny afternoons. Highland County (VA) Maple Festival around the corner, 2nd and 3rd weekends of March.
T. August
Hit 31° after a high of 59° yesterday. It’s wild how fast the temp drops this time of year during a torch.

IronTy
Solid rain with the front passage here. Hopefully enough to wash the salt off the roads. Getting tired of seeing my car covered in salt dust. Plus I can break the motorcycle out now that the salt is gone.
87storms
I picked an annoying week to strain/tear my calf (or soleus/whatever) for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Googling calf tears and seeing that it's a common injury in middle aged men isn't helping matters. I need to get back to 50/50 biking/hoops...at least. Otherwise, after a predominantly chilly/cold winter, these temps have been welcome.

Achilles and calf injuries become more common at middle age, though actually tearing a calf muscle absent a traumatic injury is still pretty rare. Yea it’s weird…both times I felt a pull/tear feeling, but both times it’s healed fairly quickly. The feeling of a rock in my calf has subsided after a few days. I have noticed a bit of a weakness in my Achilles over the last year (oddly can notice it if doing pushups I guess from the stretching) and that’s not a game I want to play, so I’m gonna take it slower getting back this time. 87storms
…I should add both times were from hoops (pushing off on my right foot). But yea, getting older and wear/tear is a thing. It’s all about prep and recovery.
