Kmlwx
BGE is saying 7:45pm ETR for this outage in Odenton. It's impacting a lot of people so I guess I believe it. But with 114K outages...I'm not sure. Though maybe it's a relatively simple issue to resolve - perhaps at the Waugh Chapel huge substation. Wind is still ripping pretty good at times too
wxdude64
LOL, starting to snow/flurry here and 33.3/24.9. Absolutely howling winds at times today, a 52 mph gust earlier. 90% of the snow melted off late this morning/early afternoon with the rain and gusty winds and 49.7 high. Now I guess we at least turn white again.... Luckily haven't lost power, DID lose a lawn/porch swing to the wind, picked it up and over the deck rail to its demise 10 foot below.

Seemed to really quick with the combo of the sunshine allowing good mixing, the CAA and the pressure rises. Loss of sunshine and the pressure gradient passing by probably means just normal blustery conditions if anything now. Should give BGE some time to recover... Kmlwx
Gaps between big gusts seem to be increasing - but there have been some strong gusts still. AACo FD has been getting hammered with power outage/electrical issue related calls. Still 108K+ outages in BGE territory.

WVclimo
Some pretty intense snow squalls blowing through here this morning. I-81 is shut down due to jack-knifed tractor trailers blocking the southbound lanes. Martinsburg airport recorded a 56 mph wind gust earlier this morning, after a 62 mph gust in the afternoon yesterday. 1

wxdude64
Snow flurries and showers off and on overnight, hard to accumulate in the 30-45 mph winds (corners and around objects held it well, lol), but finally got enough of a break on winds to record a 0.2 around midnight. All the snow from earlier is gone except for north facing where maybe an inch has survived, rest of yard/property just has the wind-blown mess from overnight. Currently 23.1/11.5 and mostly cloudy.

Think it came back here at right around then too. I saw lights on the train track side of Piney Orchard. My SO lives off of Stream Valley. They originally said 7:45 and that went by with no update. Looks like Xfinity is out this morning now...
WVsnowlover
Driving home from Morgantown yesterday afternoon was fun coming through Garrett County. Near whiteout conditions at times.
