wxdude64
Set a daily rainfall record with 0.99 inches. Old mark was 0.94 inches from 1985. The total from two day event was 1.65 inches. Rivers and creeks just cresting. Snow is basically gone, only in places shoveled/plowed.

nw baltimore wx
Exactly .50” here. Washed away a great stretch of snow cover, but I’m okay with a fresh canvas for the month.
Kay
Just over a half inch rain here. River ice update, finally seeing some open water but mostly still covered around here, as of now. I have posted this before in past freezes...bald eagles love conditions like this. Even more so when a bit more opens up. They hang out on the ice and ice-fish. This morning I saw five of them on the ice, kind of fanned out. I don't have a proper camera/lens alas. Also observed a fox just casually sitting/strolling around on the ice yesterday. I don't know if he or she was looking for fish, too, or just exploring

Sun and temps in the 40s and 50s mostly did in the last of the actual snow cover. The rain took care of the leftover patches and shrunk the piles, but more importantly it washed the roads of caustic salt.
CAPE
Days are noticeably longer. Sunrise/sunset positions are notably different. I can sense Spring on the way, and its a bit depressing. 1

mappy
Low of 15 We tried to pump water off the winter pool cover yesterday but couldn’t because the water still in the pool is frozen solid. Can’t get the pump to sink to be able to pump water off the cover. Hope it melts a bit soon as the cover is really strained haha

snowfan
Had another nice weekend in Canaan/davis. The rain really did a number on snow depth, but most areas out of the sun held strong with coverage. Trails were an icy mess though. Even had some time to stop in stumptown for some drinks. Blackwater sled run was crazy fast last night.
