:lol:It’s  reputation is that strong I guess

It definitely is, I just wish people had a little more curiosity and would at least try to experience a place for themselves before buying into its reputation…I’ve been surprised before in my travels that a place didn’t fit a certain narrative I had built up in my head about it…as the kids say, it is what it is, not a big deal, I just found that exchange funny

(and I didn’t even mention the kicker in that exchange:”I love me some primanti brothers” lmao)

I've been to Philly a million times i made a wrong turn once or twice and instantly regretted it but made many right turns and found some awesome food. My negative impression with Philly is all sports fan driven. Silver Linings Playbook is accurate

Good post!

Someone responded to a post I made yesterday according to the site but I have no idea how to find that comment.  I'm old, that's my excuse.  Is there a way to find it without wading thru pages of comments?

Hi Wes!  I believe the easiest (only?) way to do this is to go to the top of the screen when logged in, where your username/icon is.  Just to the left of that, there's a "bell" icon, if you click on that you should be able to see a list of people who responded to you.  If you click on any of them, it should take you directly to the comment in the thread it was made.  Not sure how far back the list goes, but certainly enough to capture many of those notifications.

I love the old joke about PA. You have Philly to the east and Pittsburgh to the west and Mississippi and Alabama in the middle.  It's basically true

NJ is no different. That middle rural section is wild. I have family outside of Willingboro and the pine Barrens. Sophisticated it is NOT lol

you been to salisbury? I average more chicken shit than snow

My parents lived in Cambridge from 07-18. I spent a ton of time there. A run to Salisbury on a hot humid day could bring you to your knees. It's like Ole frank Purdue feeds his birds microwave burritos and PBR:lol:

Hey Bob...OK, as a PURDUE grad here, I must take exception to your spelling of that chicken farmer...he spells it with an "e"...PERdue!!  Don't confuse the two, or lump him with the university, LOL!!!

Thinking about chasing the mid-week storm if it stays east like the last few runs and eyeballing Easton.  Anyone who chased snow -- did you stay in a hotel, B&E or Air B&B?

Considered never done it - I’d get a hotel just because I feel like they are more responsible for shoveling out their parking. If you have a better car for the snow, may not matter.
