Thats what I was thinking. Commanders could also have beaten the Chiefs, though it would have been a much closer game for them.

Yeh guess flip side is commanders eagles face off 2x year so imagine the experience / rivalry makes it little closer.

the redskins game was much more competitive. it was 34-23 and we were driving for a TD when eckler fumbled late in the 3rd

This-As a long long time diehard Eagles fan-dealing with Washington's offense was MUCH more difficult than this great victory vs KC tonight!  Daniels is special and by far the biggest rivalry the Eagles will have is Wash for at leas t the next couple years.

But for now, my Philadelphia Eagles are SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!

Weeeeeeeee

Tuesday
Snow likely after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 32. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Tuesday Night
Snow. Low around 28. Light and variable wind becoming northeast around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Well at least you all can get something out of the second batch. I'm probably too south to get that (and may be too north to get to warning level from the first batch, lol). This is seriously ridiculous...screw it I'm big dog hunting from now until this streak ends. These moderate snows we both have been getting the short end of the stick for 6 years. But if we can somehow score a big dog? I like our chances

Meanwhile back to practicing being grateful for the snow that does fall, lol

Serious question for the far NE crew the last 8 winters where you have been saying you have been screwed. Have your overall snow totals for those winters been more or less than those to the south? Are you just upset about not getting warning level snow or have you truly been getting outsnowed  every winter by Wes and H2O etc. ?

You could extend this for the crew from Baltimore city/central MD. H20, Wes, Randy, etc. have gotten more snow than both us and the NE crew since Jan 2019.

But, speaking just for me, the frustration has been the years and years of no warning level snows. There is something awesome about SN+ falling over a period of hours and aldie, I promise you, we just can’t get that. Over and over again this area gets the post event analysis where a red tagger explains  how the snow growth our way was off, why we got needles for 24 hours while it poured legit snow 15 miles away, or how the dry air couldn’t be overcome, or etc etc etc

this isn’t the first time, more like the tenth time. And the frustration is that folks write “it always comes north” and , friend, it does not.

i personally don’t give a shit who gets the most, I just want to once be in SN+ for three or four hours and hit half a foot.

it has been a long time.

I have had winters with less than 3” total

Yeah color me skeptical on the full totals comparison...sure on the single storm thing but it's colder up there and they can nickle and dime the heck out of a winter. Shoot even out west where i am hasn't been awesome for the most part. Anyway...hope everyone gets slammed soon.

I’m not too bothered by it, but it’s both for me mainly because I haven’t had anything greater than a 6” storm since 2016. That wouldn’t bother me as much if just to the south hadn’t been beating me in both individual storms and overall winter accumulations.

I hear you that explanation rings different than some of the others up there. Good luck bro

Most of us aren’t psuhoffman… we don’t live on a little mountain where we get random 2-4” squalls that nobody else gets.

<1 for me just a couple winters ago.

That winter I think that was most of us, lol 22-23, I think I got 0.2...and it fell at like 4 am when nobody was awake to see it, haha Had to laugh at that masterful troll job! That was when I first learned to detach if the winter ever got like that!

Sure but I'm talking far NE crew I'm more sympathetic to the swamp dwellers around Baltimore etc.  :)

Who you callin' swamp dweller ya rabid anti-swampite? :P Ironically I tease a cousin of mine who lives down in St. Mary's county as being in the swamp...but yet the last 8 years you'd think it was the opposite snow wise!

I probably have nickel dimed to more than Fairfax a few times in the last seven years, but, for me, that is a full I don’t care. 17 one inch snows sucks compared to two 8 inch snows (for me anyway, others see that differently).

i just want a legit snowstorm where my obs is ZOMGITSPOURINGSNOW - been a minute.

my obs for years have been (squints) - “I think something is falling the grill is starting to turn white”.

I think I had 1.7” in one of those really lean years.

There was one winter I had under 1”.

If anyone is gonna understand y’all’s pain it’s me. And others to my south and east. Since 2016 the number of storms that do better up north and shitty here are pretty noteworthy. It’s climo and location and it makes sense. I don’t begrudge that. Places are supposed to get more snow than me.

I hate the bickering. Yes snow is IMBY. But I don’t need to be in the jack every storm. I just want to be in the storm. If yall are supposed to get 8” and me 3” that’s fine. What is irritating is those that want the most at the expense of others. Like if the jack was 12 but it would shift places to the south to no snow then that’s when people will get salty. That’s where a lot of this is coming from.

I have said and will always say I don’t need to be in the jack. Is it nice?  Sure. But for me it’s for comfort more than bragging. It only gives me hope that I won’t be flipping to a mix like I do more often than not. The best storms to me are ones that give EVERYONE a nice amount. If yall get 5 or 8 or even 10 then great!  Just let me be in the game some. Don’t root for a lot where the gradient near me is between 3” and nothing. Because that nothing becomes more likely thanks to my awful microclimate

I wish we didn’t have to deal with this north south shit every winter. I’m happiest when all my friends get a nice snow and it’s falling IMBY too
