Things must be moving at lightening speed in the atmosphere. Just a few hours ago snow showers ushered in some colder air and windy conditions. A few hours later the wind is diminishing and the shade of blue in the sky has turned lighter and the sky is peppered with some cirrus out ahead of the next change in weather. In just 5 hours.

Take them up?

Was hoping we were gonna see this keep sliding a little more north, but if we get 2 I'll be happy, might be able to get one trail groomed after that, just need something for the drag to process.

Hoping by Monday we can collect 6-8 total and I can at least pan the rest of the system then.

Discuss why it’ll snow where you live.

i feel models have pushed things further south over the last 24h of models.
Initial cold front sinking south will trigger snow squalls early Tuesday.

Next focus will be overnight Tuesday as clipper comes through. This will bring a broader, albeit light, precip shield. 1-3”.
Need to keep eye on inverted trough that is popping up in modeling. That would bring the possibly for locally enhanced snowfall. Odds favor it being north of pike.

Lastly, the inverted trough will sink south, this wall kick off another round of squalls Wednesday afternoon into evening.

its all ya got.

1.5" of pure fluff here in Guilford, Maine and snowing steadily. Radar looks good down in dryslot and GYX area, not sure it'll make it up this way sliding due east, though looks like a nice band over YUL that hopefully doesn't get shredded by the time it gets here.

Had 1.5" of 30:1 fluff by 8 AM, now it's teenyflakes, outside chance to reach 2", temp near 10.  January's biggest snow event.
