I’m not ready for winter to be over. This winter has been an awful tease; really thought I’d finally see a 6” plus snow storm in northern Baltimore Co or least get close to climo. Neither had happened

Spring begins March 1st. Whether or not it feels like Spring is another story. Probably not the way things are looking at this juncture.

I don't doubt.  We do cold and windy Marches really good down here.  Unfortunately cold in March usually means 40s and sun...looks great through my windows until I step outside.

Cold springs are the worst. If we get snow in the next couple of weeks OK but otherwise Looking forward to warmer weather and longer daylight.

Without fail, year after year, the period from March 15th to mid April annoys the heck out of me. Bipolar temps, a tendency for Grey skies, and plenty of mud just doesn't do it for me

The wave around the 28th is likely a rain event here unless we see a more meridional flow ahead of it which would also take the TPV farther SE like we saw on last nights GFS. I’m not out on the first 2 weeks of March though.

Nor am I.

March can deviate from the seasonal trend and more than once it has brought the biggest storm of the season. But it has to be a big one to be worth it for me.

Give me 8”+, or give me spring.

When I transplanted to the Mid Atlantic from the south, what struck me weather-wise was that Falls here were much warmer than I expected and Springs much colder.

You have to be a moron to want winter to end and late February or early March. We are warm nine months out there.
