I was watching a DT video a couple of days ago and he mentioned one reason to go against the storm is because it wasn’t falling on a weekend and all our big storms have been weekend storms. Is that a thing

Yeah it failed the weekend storm criteria and I kept quiet about that

Don't go against the weekend rule

So you're saying, we're getting snow on Feb 28?.

18z GEFS drops blue's over us 4 times in the medium-long range

I mean, it might snow, but I wouldn't say anything too significant I guess. Let's also see if it holds. -EPO is a good pattern, showing up at Days 9-15.

It never left. I was focused on the threat in front of us and didn’t want to engage with the “the sky is falling” takes because we got a temporary relax for a few days. I get it. It’s toward the end of winter so every day lost is magnified.

Valid - wasn't sure from people's "sky is falling" takes if the relax was actually temporary. Thanks!

Don’t we want it too amplified at that range?

I don't know what we want on models anymore, except for consistency and accuracy, and that ain't happening any time soon. Honestly, I'm done with winter. If it snows it snows, if it doesn't it doesn't. I'm tired of wasting money to heat my house. Bring on the warmth.

The extreme to which the TPV got displaced this week actually lead to a pinwheel of the whole pattern and a temporary break for a few days before everything cycles around again.  I did not, nor could anyone really, have seen that coming. But the warm few days is just a temporary thing in the larger cold period as things reshuffle.

You're just "done" and I totally get it.
