Stop worrying about rain snow lines at this range. Pattern is supportive of a winter storm that’s all that matters at this range. Just for fun

The passage of time and something worse that happened to take it's place at the top of the infamy list--helped to mitigate the ban-worthiness, lol

was there such a widespread epic bust that tops it?  Maybe for a particular area but I can't think of something that touches March 2001 on how widespread it was.

Well what I'm thinking of wasn't widespread but rather to just this sub. So I guess by that measure 2001 would still be at the top.

Hard to describe just how gutting that storm was.  We were supposed to get 3 feet in the Shenandoah Valley.  Blizz of 93/96 level.  Got NOTHING.

Not really nothing.  We got some rain showers with temps in the mid-40’s :weep:

I remember that morning. Got up. Clear fooking BLUE SKY. Not even a consolational cloud. Not even a damn cirrus wisp.

I was so damn depressed. Had to go to damn work after all. Clear blue sky. I NEVER HATED the SNE/NE Region as much as I did that day. They stole our snow. That was OUR storm! We were supposed to get 24 inches! I craved a jebwalk so bad! I wanted to dig snow, go wallow in it at 3am. Fvck.

Ohhhh THAT one! Ohh yes I was 10 years old, and remember the sinking feeling of that blue sky the next day...and the local reporters saying "Looks like we dodged a bullet :D" and me looking at them like :thumbsdown:Good think it was a Saturday or else that would've been even more deflating--I think that was first memory of being disappointed by a bust, lol
