I gladly take this and call it a winter.

I might be dead the next time a foot of snow falls here.

.

You and I (and @CAPE) make out well, as does just about the whole subforum. The mood in here doesn't match the models lol

So, we have good vibes and bad vibes right now.
There's a camp that dislikes the Euro and there's a camp that loves the Euro.
For the people freaking out about going from 18-24" to 12-20" you have got to be joking.

Seems like a bit of consolidation from all the guidance to a more similar solution today. Just need to hold through tomorrow now

Each suite we’re getting 1-2 globals with the 20”+ HECS, 2-3 with a 8-15” range, and one with more of a 4-8” deal. They’re just taking turns which is which. Although euro hasn’t been on that lower end for awhile.

I feel like we can still tighten this up a bit, but feeling like the bar has been set. I’m not talking snow, I’m talking if I can actually squeeze a few more beers in my fridge without breaking a shelf! It’s either going FOLKS worthy, or oh FUCK I need a need a new shelf. I’ll let everyone know after 18z.

That looks like sustained of 25 gusting to 40 and others mentioned how dry the snow may be.  Could be historic snow with biblical drifting

I’ve wondered what could happen if a low gets trapped right off the coast and can’t  move for almost a day.  Might now finally see those results

Been 9 years here since I have seen a 12 inch snowstorm.  I am happy with the Euro run.   Of course, who knows, the storm might amp up, or might go East, don't take anything seriously until we get to early next week.

No reason to complain and IMO best to ignore the very few who do vs giving them all the attention and energy

Agreed. Only model that spooks me for IMBY is the UKMET. But this has been a terrific winter so far. Pretty sure I'm above average for snowfall, and I had snow over for the majority of January, which is unheard of around here. This storm would just be count on the cake. I know that isn't the case for many in here, but still, considering the expectations initially for this winter going in, this has been not half bad.

If this storm can really consistently rock everyone nearly equally, it'll make this a memorable winter for many l.
