If the cmc is the worst outcome I'm still hearing tents getting pitched.

If a partial phase and a turn up the coast is the fail scenario, them I'm definitely onboard.  Would love to be able to take a complete whiff on the phase off the table as a fail option.

There's going to be a lot of breath holding until the 12z Euro rolls out after that run

Let’s be honest here, even if the Canadian showed a monster, everyone still would be living or dying on the Euro

I think what we're seeing is a bit of a later capture than we'd like, but still time to get that upper level energy a bit further south.

Verbatim the narrow stripe is "scary" but given the upper level setup and the history of our area,  it's still a widespread storm and the cmc just burped a little. I can't think of any setups like this (with a turn instead of exit) that didn't cover the area pretty evenly except for the impossible to predict jack stripe.  Basically take the cmc jack and smooth it out westward 75 miles and it looks more typical (imo only)

6” being the floor at 12z certainly isn’t bad. The past couple of years we all would have literally cried for a 6” storm. Now half the forum is disappointed that every single model doesn’t show 12-24” 4.5 days out lol. Weenies be weenieing

100%. Doing my shopping today before people lose their collective minds. Remember the gas, rock salt, matches and cash.

Going to stock up on the hearty ingredients for stews and pot roasts as well. Weather that will keep you parked calls for good, hearty nourishment. Time for pancakes and pot roasts!

Ok, I got two camps about the thread.  Do I open Ji's storm thread NOW or wait until 12z tomorrow?  Hit the "100" reaction for now and Trophy cup reaction for tomorrow and I'll move accordingly.   voting closes after the Euro runs.

I say delete JI’s thread and have PSU start the storm thread!

Let PSU start a new thread for his storm.  Ji brings bad juju.

Seems like chances keep increasing for this to develop similar to the PD 03 setup, but temps may be less of an issue?

One thing is for sure… temps won’t be an issue. The major question is do we get a full or partial phase

What you thinking about this threat Chris? Is it a real big dog potential?

Seems legit but a little weary of super huge numbers. Pattern has been progressive, not sure it’s a slow enough mover for 18+. But seems like we all could score a 12-18” incher, the no worries about temps definitely helps
