My kids will go to school 1 day next week if gfs verifies. Fairfax might just call it a year?

In 09-10... I think went to school for like 3 whole days in that 3 week time period from January onto February

Insane run

HOCO might just say F it and do the same. ;)

Fairfax missed two weeks after January 1996. Never thought any storm could beat that but February 2010 did and January 2016. We complain about lack of big storms but certainly have had our share.

This is like insane lol. Plus ice and sleet in there too makes for most insane runs I ever seen for a week period

If it played out like that, which it wouldn’t, that would be actually highly annoying here with such bigger totals north. That was a great run of the GFS, though. So many chances. Storms also seem to be adjusting south a bit.

Seriously??  I'm sorry, but who really gives a shit if PA or NYC or SNE gets "such bigger totals" compared to here, if we score over a foot in that time.  People need to get their priorities straight.  It's not like we get zip with all rain while those areas get hammered (which has happened all too many times over the years).

NWS kinda bullish for Mon-Wed for Columbia/central Md.

Monday
A chance of snow after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Monday Night
A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Tuesday
Snow. High near 36. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Tuesday Night
Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Wednesday
A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

And then 70% snow/rain mix Wednesday night and Thursday. Of course it’ll change several times before showtime.

The bigger totals are going to be north next week. Bet my bank account on it. State college to Albany to Boston is going to get buried over the next 2+ weeks. But I still think we’re going to get more (maybe a lot more) than many of us would have guessed in a Niña February with SE ridge over us.

I'm hoping 18z euro and euro AI show something at Least close to gfs :)

They won’t lol. Well maybe Ai. Euro won’t catch on yet probably. EPS has had plenty of members though with similar solutions.
