I mean, GFS still has 10-14” area wide over the next 10 days and this is an “off” run, so…

lol....we need to get back to the 30-40 inch comfort zone we got accustomed too

That setup at 276 looks fun too heh… cmc still hasn’t bought in yet. It has a flatter conus look, mainly because the northern branch draped across the country.

.

lets see what it brings...

Yeah, the northern cut off from great to decent is brutal.    Well, my bad for making it seem worse than it was.  Told yall I was gonna fuck it up.  It just looked kinda unimpressive on SV.  Surface seemed way too warm.  And to be fair, I was comparing it to 6z, which was better IMO

Totally fine with this. We all know it won't pan out this way verbatim. Good spot to be in actually at this range.

Gfs/gem were ok all things considered. Hopefully the ensembles don’t abandon the idea.

GEFS a step back from 6z for the 12th. Hard to tell but snowfall mean looks cut in half. Probably warmer. Not suppressed like the op.

edit: some members are similar to the op. Overall the storm is just weaker.
