Heavy snow huge flakes

Freezing rain/snow mix with this band. Freezing rain because temp is 30. Large flakes breaking through whatever warm layer this is though.

Dec 2005 was a crazy N/S gradient where the south shore was all rain but the north shore had up to 6". This will be gone tomorrow anyway but nice little event.

It's almost a different climate at times on the North Shore in marginal events like this.

Thanks!  A friend in town said about 1/4".  We've had 4 events with <1" that have added up to 1.5", so every little bit helps.  Up to 10.7" on the winter.

I've checked back and looking forward.  

First the CMCE and EPS blend did best for this past Sunday evenings snowfall... GEFS not good---way too low. 

I've discovered a problem in the 24hr CMCE 10 to 1 mean vs the 24hr CMCE positive snow depth. Will post in the morning when awake.

The thread for the 5th-6th has been started and I'll add a new thread for the 8th-9th at 9A this morning. 

You're probably enjoying the spate of probable wintry events coming up the next two weeks.  I like it cause it means we can moisten the ground.  In the 10 days ending the 12th including the tenth of an inch tonight... all ensembles 1.5". Probably add another 3/4" to extend it out to 360 hours... beneficial, presuming it occurs something like this.

It's okay I wouldn't have had a chance to enjoy it, I got an intense stomach bug around 8 PM last night after eating a banana of all things, a sharp fever and shivering, nausea and dizziness and eventually vomiting.

Now starting to recover but finding it hard to believe that eating a banana could cause all this. Now I don't want to eat any solid food today and just drink juice lol

Yea I was hoping we’d get something as it was quite cold during the day which allowed for immediate accumulation - not always a sure thing with UHI
