Almost moderate snow here, but it's a proper snowfall at this point.  Temp is essentially unchanged over the past few hours, but has actually dropped a couple of tenths recently to 28.6 (dp 26).

Edit 9:56pm Moderate snow now. Righteous.

Grass nearly covered here, closing in on an inch. I think about 15 miles due west of you…

I lived for several years in West Babylon after we got married and commuted to the North shore.  Many disappointments in WB.

I did my time living in Long Beach growing up and having numerous situations like this. But still, wild how it's up to 10 degrees warmer just a short drive down Rt 110. Farmingdale is 35 and rain.

I grew up on the North shore.  When we lived in WB it was an eye opener visiting Mom and Dad during the winter.
