metalicwx367 Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM 31 now with sleet and freezing rain. Light dusting of snow & sleet on roofs, cars, and grass in the area.
Spidyr2k Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Itty bitty flakes, slight coverage on elevated surfaces. My daddy always said when it got really cold, "Nah, too cold to snow." My smartass reply was, "Then how can it snow at the North Pole?" He'd wink and grin, "Santa Claus." fire1113 Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM It has been snowing for 5 hours in the midlands area of SC and there is barely a dusting. These flakes are sooo tiny! Really need to get bigger flakes with heavier rates to get anything decent.
rxwxunc Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Just got back from a mile long walk around my neighborhood. Minus a frozen face (19 degrees) it was pretty. Moderate to light snow. Roads covered. Weird to say that the roads looked better in the snow than the lawns. I am enjoying this considering I was expecting nada when I left the house this morning!!.

GaWx Posted yesterday at 01:36 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:36 AM It has turned from sleet to a mix of sleet and ZR with 30.4F. Tiny icicles on some leaves. I expect it to turn to snow soon (within a couple of hours at the very most) as the heavier stuff comes in. We’ll see. Sleet getting heavier again.
SnowDeac Posted yesterday at 01:38 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:38 AM Wrapping up here in SE Charlotte. Little over half an inch I’d say. Went for a nice walk with the dogs. Love watching it snow in street lights. Tough to call a half inch a win, but given the snow drought and late trends, we will take it. 3
