Cheeznado
Heavy snow band in ATL, Looks like it is about to end, picked up the forecasted dusting, just never expected these kind of rates. EDIT: the back end was advancing, now it is not. We may get an ibnch or two. Amazing.

Hoping the green area in Gadsden holds up until it gets here so maybe we get a light dusting up here. Congrats to everyone who got some, especially the people who never get to see snow

That breaks the daily record of a trace that was set in 1979 and tied in 2022. Meanwhile, at Gulf Breeze, FL, the ground is now dusted by snow and sea smoke is rising from the Gulf of Mexico. Meanwhile, at New Orleans: Don, how many measurable snowfalls have there been at Mobile and New Orleans? Any chance of a top ten listing? I know there were big falls in Feb 1895 and 1899. KrummWx
Nothing yet in midtown Raleigh though the radar would have one believe otherwise. Meanwhile my mother in Panama City FL just sent me a video of it snowing in her backyard and it's sticking already. TWC is calling for 5-8 freaking inches in Panama City. Wow.
