On the drive back from the catoctins there definitely seemed to be a fall off in snow amounts just past ashburn on I-15, glad you managed to get into that. Personally got to. .75 without the ending bands accounted for yet, hoping to clinch an inch.

Canadians really weren’t that far off with this in some ways. Low pressure didn’t go over Wes’ house but the accums lines being decently NW were. Harrisburg got rocked

Just shoveled so I don't have to deal with mini-cordilleras of ice post-pedestrian beatdown. Eyeballing under an inch but prolly more than a half-inch. But I suck at judging things like that so who knows.

Yeah it’s funny cause they backed off that at the last minute, but would’ve been right if they kept it!  Then the RGEM showed a very wrong 7 inch band over 95 lol.

Ok so the Euro AI got smacked around by the Canadians.  I will remember this…consistency doesn’t necessarily mean correct.  I don’t have a liquid equivalent measurement but I’m guessing I had like like .15 when that model was showing 0.4 for DC consistently.

I'd be inclined to agree with you on this assessment, given that we got an eventual .6" here within the last hour (vs. the 1-3" predicted 24 hours ago). But while I like to LOOK at the snow, I don't like to clean it up anymore...so I'm good.

Got about 1" of low ratio snow mixed in with an initial layer of slushy sleet, on top of about 1.5" from 1/6. Disappointed, but the pack we have here is now armored up, battle hardened, and ready to throw down. Will be a solid sheet of ice by tomorrow

To the Mets on the board, what's the post-mortem for this one? Seems once the front took more time it screwed up the thermals resulting in a bunch of wasted QPF, not to mention the QPF itself was less amped than predicted.

Took my family up to Canaan and Whitegrass this weekend. This is up at Bald Knob and it was absolutely ripping it today. Epic storm here, but seemingly pretty lame in the lowlands. At least it's cold AF and still lots of winter left!

We didn’t waste much qpf with rain but more wet snow than I thought
