Looks like the drier models get the win with this one. I had 0.03" before it changed to frozen. Might end up with 0.15 total max.

Down to 31F and moderate snow with 0.5 on board 

2.5-3” at Frederick house and 30

4” which was double what i expected. a gorgeous landscape outside and one of the prettiest snowfalls i’ve seen.

and now i’d be thrilled if it melted.

Still getting lingering bands moving through here that change it from light to steady.  

Surprised by the snowfall totals closer to the fall line.  Models definitely busted on that.

Matches the totals I measured.  Might have a "snowboard" 4" around here when all is said and done.

Did you look at the forecast this week? There is nothing to melt any time soon.

I did better than I thought.  With the late save I measured 3.4".  Would've been an easy 4, maybe 5, if not for the loss of early qpf on meltage.  I said yesterday I'd be shocked if I got 2".  I can't be anything else but satisfied.  It's enough to survive the wind and sublimation to come.  It looks like and will feel like deep winter for a few days.

Well, nice finish.  0.5 everything is white again and we didn’t get shut out.  Our good winter continues.  11.4 on the season pending these last few bands rolling through.  Let’s enjoy the Siberian express folks!

This pickup is a bit of a surprise one of the benefits of not checking radar and ignoring Ji

Had a great time with my daughter in whiteout conditions! I measured 1.5” when we first went out, but the death band dropped another inch on top! 

Streets had 2” of slush and heavily compacted cement, and it was harder than shoveling 6-7” of powder. On grass and old snow, there was 3” of new snow! 

I may split the difference and send in 2.5” as my spotter report. But radar says we’re not done yet. Maybe round me up to 3” official?

Done in Germantown with about 1.5 which is pretty disappointing compared to the 3-5 forecasted.  Looks wintry though and the freeze up begins

Down to 15.8 and winds picking up.
