how far do most folks have their stations off the ground?  Some of the others in my immediate area are 33-34, but I'm at 38.  However, my station is about 10' off the ground.

you guys are lucky. I've spent the last two days trying to figure out where to put a temperature sensor out in my apartment complex so that it's both valid and not liable to have someone think it's a spycam.

I’d like it if that damn gap between the stuff west of the blue ridge and the stuff 95 east would go away. It started snowing up lately and it’s now on more and more guidance.

I think it’s a transfer jump kind of issue. Seems as the costal starts to amp its killing the initial banding associated with the SW too fast and jumping us.

Agreed. I am just west of the gap here in Augusta County.  A typical modeling error away from not a lot of qpf.  Hope it’s wrong or if not it isn’t in my or your backyard.

I blame Ji for his negative energy. We are just collateral damage

3k NAM. Still:wub:

Still has the screw zone. This run over 95. Seems we are resigned that’s gonna affect someone in our sub. Looking at it closer I think my gut was right it’s a transfer kind of thing. The initial inland low initiated by the SW is trending weaker and as the coastal gets going the deform that develops cuts off the heavier precip quick to its west. Creates a gap zone.

Wet bulb is probably 32 for you. Nice. Nothing worse than sitting at 45/38 at 2am waiting for cold air to catch up.

Temp down to freezing now. When does it go above next? Thursday or Friday?

Can you stop letting them run. If you lose at least make them pass the ball. Your best chance is to hope Goff craps the bed. You have less of a chance if you let them just run the ball all over ya.

See Goff is not reliable. Make him beat you and take your chances.

Mine sits 30 feet from any tree, deck, shed or anything else in a grass field in the back of the house. It’s usually pretty accurate and I have an analog quality control in front of garage.

Look at this guy with a grass field and a 30’ radius available to site his weather station.

Looks like "heavy snow" was added into the grids in the WN suburbs. Also, my high temp for tomorrow in the point and click was lowered to 32°. :snowwindow:

Was added earlier today, around same time sleet was added. Nice to see.

Looks to me like the 850 low gets cranking just NE of our region. Euro outcome reflects that pretty well.

We haven’t stopped the run all year. Did you see how we did against Barkley?

We were never gonna get that. The wave is getting going way too late. Those of us west of the bay would actually be better if that coastal deform waited a few more hours to develop to max out the precip from the initial boundary wave initiated by the SW along the arctic boundary.

I don’t know where da fuck I’m at. Somewhere in the Atlantic enjoying football in a bar, 6 deep in drinks, watching football, and praying for snow for everyone…except rain for @stormtracker:lol:

Seriously, hope everyone cashes in tomorrow. Living vicariously thru you all. That said, 82 and sun at sea tomorrow feels ok too.
