CAPE
Hoping for an inch at this point. Maybe a couple hours before dry air works in and cuts off the precip. This was always biggest issue being on the south side. Just too dry.

I'm up to 8.6" so far, but the sun is poking out from behind the clouds so things are winding down from the synoptic system. We should have some more upslope tonight, however. Temp down to 17.8. Pretty similar here, you might be an inch or so ahead from the synoptic if I had to guess. We've already transitioned to the upslope, snowing pretty steadily now. Should get several more inches.

We probably got .5" here, but again, we didn't lose a whole lot of snowpack considering the earlier warmer temps/rain. And we got another week of hard winter incoming, so.... North Balti Zen
Closing in on 2 inches, I refuse to look at radar during these events so I can pretend it will go on like this forever...but we will need it a few more hours in any event to get to 4". Probably gonna miss verifying warning level again for Monkton area but it is really pretty.

87storms
Done with the walks for now. Nice storm given the temps leading in. A little less snow than I had hoped (3” as opposed to 5), but prob heavier rates at its peak than I expected. Grade: B+ (still lingering light snow around)

adelphi_sky
Just got back from taking my son to his mother's in NW DC. We left my house it was 32 and sleet. By the time we reached New Hampshire avenue, it was 30 and heavy snow. Needless to say, people were caught off guard. Glad I made it back home safely.
colonelaureliano1
Heaviest snow I have seen at BWI since 2016. If we can get the grass covered before the deep freeze I’ll be happy to call this one a win.
