RDM
Slightly heavier rain dropped the temp from 36 (where it's been for hours) to 35 and immediately started to switch to white rain. Hope everyone in the area cashes in on something. The inbound cold is going to be intersting. Extreme cold warnings out for parts of WVA and Cold Weather Advisories out for much of the eastern 2/3 of CONUS all the way down to central FL. Wind chills are going to be dangerous for some. Most places only lost .02-.04 of QPF to rain / mix. The flip will come fast and furious, as will the QPF.

I am in a little NE-facing hollow at the top of Parr's Ridge that peaks at 700' around 1,000m to the NNE and rises to 650' in all other directions. So, my "climatology" is more like 630' for this area. Probably more info than you wanted but the microclimate dynamics here are interesting and I've had a long time here to see them in action.
