Because if it's everything, it wouldn't hurt totals as much. Onset of precip is a bit delayed on latest runs. Just focusing on my area ofc, but the duration of non-snow ptype doesn't seem much different for here. 3" is probably boom here. 1-2 seems reasonable.

Yes we’re running a bit warm atm but the arctic front is coming and banding will develop along that front. It’ll be a beatdown and how much we get will be determined how long the banding lasts 5

Models always brings in the cold air faster than how it actually happens. It will be interesting. It looks like the Reggie and GFS and Euro all give us the majority of our snow in a 3 hour ish period this afternoon.

BlizzardNole
Temp rose all night to a toasty 38. LWX still saying 3-5 in my area (Germantown) but I am expecting rain to snow with a max of 2"

Weather Will
As much as everyone says the NAM stinks, when the 3K is not on board inside 24 hours it is a huge red flag. Will note for now on...

CAPE
Its a bit colder over here. The 3 nearest stations to me are 33-35, and mine is 34 currently. Probably doesn't matter much. Temps will rise a few degrees here as onset approaches, while places further west that are in the upper 30s have hit their high and temps will drop from there.

If we get shut out completely I’d be disappointed but I don’t see that. I still think the upside is possible, if we get that nice banding along the front it can drop 1-2 inch per hour rates. Maestrobjwa
I mean it is what it is and I'll enjoy whatever falls...I'm just annoyed at the delayed impact time. A canceled Sunday service takes a bite out of the check...(won't go into details, but that's how it's setup) So if I'm gonna lose money, I'd rather it be for snow that actually comes when projected. Dang it...
