I’m in a terrible spot for NW flow. Down sloping off of Anderson Co kills me unless we have a good deal of low level moisture.

I hear you! My location in the NW corner of Hamblen/Hawkins is the same way. Clinch Mtn downslopes me just about every time.

However ATM I’m in a pixie dust storm. 1/4 mile visibility. Looks like what I’ve seen during these events in a cabin up above Wears Valley.

Just looking at photos from Bristol, TN/VA, it looks like they go 2-4".  We have a dusting IMBY.  Upslope is not my game.  Pretty good thump in eastern Sullivan though.  They have been scoring all winter.  RGEM with the score yet again.  The GFS at very short range wasn't bad.  Portions of extreme NE TN and SW VA have been hammered.

Every heavy Streamer and shower missed my home tonight. Only a heavy dusting ! Pennington gap just 3 Miles NNE of me as a crow flies, has gotten several heavy Streamers and picked up 3 inches Tonight. What fell this morning there had melted earlier as they hadn't gotten much being around just 1400 ft ele. Here's a link to Cam.

If you got under one it's pretty impressive. JKL mentioned them in their AFD when they talked about potential snow squall warnings yesterday. They were connected to some Lake Michigan moisture. They were small here. 2 or 3 miles wide at times. Places under them have 3ish inches.
