Some fine warm temperatures this morning:

Bottomed out at 10. Up to a toasty 13 now. 

Staring at my deck in the sun and you can literally watch as the snow melts and turns into ice. While the sun is doing it's job there is no dripping. Be safe out there!

Wondering if I can rival last year's -1 temp over the next couple mornings.  Probably not as last year when that occurred I had 10" of snowpack.  This year nada.

Ended up with 5.5" of snow once it was all over. It is very cold today, my propane heater is cranked up, it usually sends you out of the house on 2. I have it set to 4 and it's struggled a bit this morning to keep it warm.

The Can/RGEM are tossing out crazy low temps for Wednesday morning. RGEM has me around -10. The GGEM -6. Euro 4 and GFS 5.

I noticed that! Without deeper snow cover I’m not sure that’s possible!

The models keep attempting to have a clipper in the area Friday but it just falls apart as it gets here. These Pacific blocking patterns used to be money for clippers. This year we can't buy one.

Central air unit kept trying to kick in aux heating all night. So we had to stay up and keep the fire going. What a brutal cold night here in Clarksville. Tomorrow night into Wednesday morning looks even colder than last night. No freaking thank you.

It would be alot easier to stomach the heating bills with a big snow storm but at least there's some snow around out there.

This part  we did get 2 inches very early Saturday morning. But the bitter cold with no fun snow to come with it is crappy. Knowing the low temperature tomorrow night is 3° and even lower with “real feel” makes me and my arthritic bones want to cry. We went through SO much wood last night. -sigh-

Made it down to 7 this morning and up to 21 today. The temp is currently falling like a rock though even without hardly any snow on the ground. Already down to 14. Since the wind is calm, I got a feeling if the clouds hold off for awhile could be lower than forecast tonight. Maybe back down around the same temp.

Deep Mountain Valleys with decent Snow pack may do it.

Finally got a few Reports regarding Lee County Snowfall Amounts. Pennington gap South South east to the Dot Community picked up 3 inches last night from the Steamers. 

      Western Lee an inch. Central a quarter to a half. 6-8" on Wallen Ridge a mile Sse of Pennington gap.

Looks like our low is going to bust unless it clouds up before midnight. I was supposed to get down to 9 tonight and it's already down to 7.

Same here. At 11 now. They must have been riding with the NAM. 

RGEM looks more realistic with possible lows in the AM. NAM is already busted.

I don't know why anyone would use the Nam to forecast Temps.. It has a well known warm bias in the area. For that matter pretty much all the SRM'S have that bias other than the RGEM although the Nam is worst .

  Down to 7 here and I'm on a Hill so, you can bet a few degrees lower in the Valleys.
