I’m a little pessimistic about my home town for this storm which never happens in the winter (lol), they might struggle to get past 2-3” unless they go to town in a band. It’s 40 there now and it always takes forever for the immediate south shore to cool down. Short range models are also hinting at a subsidence zone somewhere east of the enhanced snow area in E PA/NJ. With Long Beach’s luck…

Upton in their recent disco talked about how NYC/LI will have a delayed start with precip until the coastal gets going

This is going to be interesting on how this is going to all come together with radar showing dry slots and precip moving fast

Hoping this E PA/NJ band doesn’t overwhelm everything else that tries to develop to the East, because if that becomes too stout there will be a zone east of it that gets shafted from subsidence. Some of the short range guidance is hinting at it.

the melt downs and bust calls will be out in droves

And they could always be right. It's how it goes. Last year we overperformed for a change in our area. We'll see. I'm salted to my wit's end out here....Menlo mall is a sheen of blue tinted road salt, which is all over my shoes....

2-4 for us is a good call

yep, there's always some sort of subsidence on the south shore, unless we're in a big el nino and then we usually jackpot (as long as it stays all snow.)
