This reminds me of those years when the north trend happens every time. I’d bet pike south at minimum get 1-3

It’s possible it could still turn into an inch or two pike south. Obviously I’d root for it but I think it’s mostly far southern areas that have a legit shot. We’ll see though. Still a couple of days to try and nudge it back north a bit.

Without a -NAO it should come north some. SE ridge also helps. I’m not saying big nit but a couple inch refresher very possible . Has that look

My brother just called me in a panic about next weekend's storm.  He's supposed to be flying out to FLL on Sunday morning.  I told him that the airline will likely let him move up his flight to Saturday if Sunday looks bad.  I wonder if he should pull the trigger by midweek if this thing still looks like a big 'un.

I think he has plenty of time to see how this thing next weekend progresses as of now…as you point out, we’ll know a lot more by mid week. Sit tight for now imo.

It certainly has an ice look, doesn't it?

Not much going on there, a quick mix and done.. Few inches of snow and sleet and light icing, There is a weak area of low pressure in Canada in between high pressure that merges with the low in the Ohio Valley and pushes our high to the East..
