So your post is utter BS. 2
CoastalWx
Yeah there’s been snow in some shape or form since the 11th or so. That’s been impressive as of late.

tavwtby
at least it's not cold dry/wind, there are things to track, law of averages, maybe we catch a break and get region wide goods for a few weeks.

powderfreak
Not going to get 3” down low tonight, ha. Elevation dependent with the CAA lagging, needed to be above 1,000-1,200ft. Clawing to maybe 1” of slop below those elevations. 4+ up high so far but down low here got warm today.

Got some white rain going on here. It was a rain/snow mix around 630. It's mostly snow now but still above freezing. It just blows my mind that 36hrs ago we were at -25, and now it's almost too warm for snow
DavisStraight
The snow retention even in southern Maine is much better than down here, after last night's snow they have over 10 inches on the ground, parking lots have good size piles. I've been losing it almost as fast as I get it down here.

I'm just saying my area and the 2 towns I drove through have a lot of bare ground. 1

Yet the sunny spots (esp. south facing slopes) were bare yesterday afternoon. Sun did some damage. so your yard is most certainly not representative of the whole area.
