Yeah, sun is really taking over fast. Even with 10's and 20's, a coating-few inches of snow don't stand a chance against full sun!

WTF?  Lol…it was 42 here today and the 2.5” didn’t go away at all.  It compacted, but have full cover.  So your post is utter BS.

If this is the best we can do, I guess I'll just have to settle.

if this verifies, a whole lot of people will be very happy, just get me over 50" on the season and I'll be happy, I'm not even at 20 yet but nice looking stretch incoming! gotta love when there's just s/w after s/w to track one after the other.

If this happens, I'll run naked down my street.

Not going to get 3” down low tonight, ha.  Elevation dependent with the CAA lagging, needed to be above 1,000-1,200ft.

Clawing to maybe 1” of slop below those elevations.

4+ up high so far.

33.7° -RA

Feels like forever since I’ve felt this much moisture in the air.

Got some white rain going on here. It was a rain/snow mix around 630. It's mostly snow now but still above freezing. It just blows my mind that 36hrs ago we were at -25, and now it's almost too warm for snow

No he isn't a lot of snow has disappeared from here, not to bare ground but 50 percent grass showing.

No grass showing here and we only had 2.5”, so his post was trash.  Tomorrow it’ll go, but the little bit that fell, survived the whole day that was 42 degrees.  That’s my point.

Does he live near you? Depends on the area on who maintained and who got the melt. I'm just saying my area and the 2 towns I drove through have a lot of bare ground.

we got 4” on Friday and 2” yesterday. Yet the sunny spots (esp. south facing slopes) were bare yesterday afternoon. Sun did some damage. so your yard is most certainly not representative of the whole area.
