I prefer to view it as just making room for more in the coming days.  Gonna be easier to clean up without all that ice around.

We kept complete cover here ….that area of yours is the new Miami there lol. A lot of the day here it was cloudy so that helped.

Snowing pretty well here, with a warmish 31F temperature. P&C says 3-5”, which added to last nights 4-5” should make for some nice gains if it verifies. 15” at the stake

They’ve been salting a ton here. When the roads dry out it looks like I’m driving through the salt flats of the Mojave with all the dust kicked up.

Theres a salt haze over 93 anytime there's an inversion lately

Still complete cover but it compacted/melted in half. Trust me, I’m rooting for grass and golf on March 15. Though that doesn’t look likely.

I tell ya what no matter what happens over the next several weeks weather wise, I’m eagerly looking forward to tippys annual nape posts as the sun continues to grow a little stronger day by day. It really takes the sting off of shoveling a few inches of slush or if we’re lucky a good mound of powdery goodness! This active pattern is sure to bring a few surprises in the weeks ahead.

I had Swiss cheese cover for one day between Jan 11th and the MLK weekend storm…it was that rain on the Saturday that finally punched some holes in the cover. But otherwise it’s been consistent. This past Saturday got a few holes too in the sunny spots. Considering we’ve had like 9-10” total during that stretch, pretty good run to keep cover. 
 

Hoping we can actually develop a real pack from this pattern instead of this nickel and dime crap.

Yeah, sun is really taking over fast. Even with 10's and 20's, a coating-few inches of snow don't stand a chance against full sun!
