dendrite
That’s a hell of an inversion up here on the gfs. It’s practically all snow.

Trend to watch for sure though because a little earlier in the mesolow and it’s lights out over interior. I see what you did there (it’s lights out over the interior). Typhoon Tip
The speed of the storm should keep the ice totals down… Doesn’t seem like people are listening to that. It seems like people are ignoring this statement. Even that product is barely warning ice. Needs to be a half inch if we make it we make it but we’re not talking about a crippling thing

powderfreak
Crusty the clown may finally come pay a visit to the snowpack after tomorrow… certainly one of the next two events (Sunday). Net gains for sure, but we haven’t seen any precipitation type but snow for the last 5+ weeks. Of course it’s a holiday/vacation period coming up. The last liquid precip occurred during and just after the Xmas/New Years period. Hopefully Mother Nature can let the vacationers experience the current vibe up here. Just filled in.

Typhoon Tip
Like I said to Kevin earlier … I don’t have an issue reaching low warning ice … Just the “big ice” d-drip rocks getting off oh boy oh boy should be toned down. 2

DomNH
I think even 0.5'' - 1'' of QPF as ice in a fast moving, moderate to heavy rain type of system isn't going to do it for Phil. A nice wintry appeal and saggy trees but short of . 1 1 1
