The sad part is…the nice weather to be outside is months away really…this winter isn’t gonna let you/us out early the way it looks now. Cold has been the theme, and continues to look that way for quite a while. Only a third through Feb…spring is a ways off, and an early transition doesn’t look to be in the cards.  Suffering is where this is going.

That's fine, just get the pattern as hostile as possible so we are far far away from thinking we have any hope. It's already close to that. Even all these close "hopes" turn to shit.

I was hoping to make a run at average with this look, but that doesn’t seem likely. Getting kind of exhausted parsing model data ad nauseam, having hopes up with pretty colors abound and ultimately ending up with a realized fraction of what could have been. It’s really tiring.

LR looks good though lol. But for real, yea it’s a shitty hobby that usually nets undesirable results. This decade has taught me to drastically reduce expectations on a seasonal basis and enjoy these fast and small individual events when they fly through.

I used to go into every season with big hopes and possibilities. But lately, I expect BN snows where the season is squeezed into a couple good h5 stretches.
