I was thinking of that, is that stuff safe for dogs though? I thought it wasn’t good for their pads

I am really hoping we can sneak in some upper 70’s and 80’s in late April and May on a weekend with a Bruins playoff game and watch outside…that would be heaven. If we can muster out final snow storm let’s do it.

You can buy pet safe melt (if you can find it). MAG chloride is great for that work though but not pet safe.

Gorgeous day in NYC today. Only needed a light coat.

19" of ice on the lake near my house. All but the top 3-4" is clear black ice too, not cheap frozen slush. Gonna take a long time to thaw that out. Ive seen more a few times, but its definitely a high end ice year locally (SE NH).

Tip’s sun angle definitely felt today. Was sweating actually driving…didn’t even need heat on

My comment was directed more towards the bruins being in the playoffs. Rebuild time.

It was beautiful. Weirdly when I came out to my car though there was some hairy guy in it babbling about vectors, sigmas, deltas... Couldn't understand a word he was saying.

Lindholm is out for the year. McAvoy most likely. They sucked before.

Tip's sun angle works great on the south side of structures.  But the north side of my house is icy tundra.  What makes it worse is that's the side of my property where the drainage occurs, so it's layer upon layer of ice build up on the sloped driveway, with very little melting during the day.  I often wonder why people don't consider such things when they design homes (or why people like me buy those homes). 

Give me one more blizzard (ice-FREE), or send me into May.

Sweeney/Neely screwed up and Montgomery was the scapegoat. Montgomery is a west coast offense guy…that’s why they brought him in, they wanted to become a more explosive offensively team. But what do you need for that system…speed and guys who can play make and quickly transition zone to zone. After the first Florida loss…Sweeney/Neely asked multiple bruins and Montgomery what they needed…they said speed. Same thing after last season. So what did they do, go out and bring in just the opposite. They have to re-tool on some players and the whole coaching staff.

my garage door faces due north.  I have to be diligent about removing snow and ice for the first 15-20 feet in front of the door to avoid the skating rink effect
