It will be known for record breaking snows and some record breaking cold. But up here, it’s just going to be remembered as a big tease. It was “wintry” for long stretches this season with snow OTG and ice choking the rivers and lakes frozen, but we avoided big time arctic cold shots and avoided big snow storms with surgical precision. Maybe we’ll get thrown a bone before the season it out. But getting teased a couple more times would be more fitting of this winter. and I don't think it's below normal per se across NNE ( temps) ? maybe that's changed. That day has been a target for about a week out, good signal, as always cutter, whiff, or hit? We will see

If that’s the case, then that is quite a signal.
CoastalWx Posted yesterday at 04:52 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:52 PM GFS wasn't far from the Canadian, it's just that the Canadian tapped into a better airmass advecting in as the low developed.
weathafella Posted yesterday at 04:52 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:52 PM I’m out officially by Sunday. Enjoy what comes fellas. My only lament is Florida looks coolish at least for the first week I’m there. Good luck piling up some snow. I’ll turn the heat down on my way out the door and hopefully save a few bucks. The mid January to mid February bill is $675. 1

Do those have reverse these days? The last machine I had was a 10 year old Motoski that I bought for a dollar in 1983. It looked and rode like it was 40 years old at the time I imagine they've come quite a way in the past 50 years. It was a beast for my 10 year old self to try and manage. My wife wants to rent some to try it out at some point. I'm thinking a compromise is tracks for the SxS!

We usually go the New Hampshire and rent sleds for a day, the new sleds are nice with handwarmers, and they ride nice. On the rentals they mess with them so we could only go so fast, but still fun.
