Yeah population gets pretty damned sparse in New England above 1500 feet. I’m sure the weather plays part of that too. It’s mostly sickos like us that like the weather at higher elevations over interior New England. Terrain is often rugged too.

Believe me, we love our humble little house, but I tell my family from time to time, how happy I would be up in MPM’s old hood in Shelburne.

January had so much low-density snow in the Killington area that the healthy seasonal snow total didn't really reflect the lack of depth in the woods for a while, but it's truly deep in the woods (and nats) now.

I will say its been awhile  since, I have retained snow for this long. 

I think we can put to bed that theory that CC is causing a semi-permanent trough west/ridge east alignment. We'll probably get a decent season before the turn of the decade, which is when we enter a really nice stretch.
