Many of them also overperformed...the 2/2 event looked like a typical 6-10 SWFE until the RGEM kept insisting on faster redevelopment and continuing the snow all afternoon and it turned into a 12-18" for many. The overrunning storm from Feb 7-9 didn't really materialize on guidance until pretty close in (maybe 5 days out or closer?)....and of course we all remember the mid-level magic storm on 2/15 that was kind of a disaster on models.

Yes the 2/15 blizzard the models were OTS and then jogged way north 3-4 days out.

Ray having a romantic time with himself. Blanket sprawled out in front of the fireplace with laptop and notebooks, sharpies and pencils. Fresh popcorn and odouls sitting on the coffee table. TWC broadcasting in the background….A bottle of lotion and box of tissues easily within reach.

Don't forget the draft material, too..

Can we keep the run going another 2-3 weeks and make a run at 100" on the ground at the Mount Mansfield COOP stake?

With no real threats to the snowpack on the models, and only increases... this could make a run.  The past week of snows every other day has certainly ramped things up a notch.

One can see on the Mansfield snow depth map that since around January 1st, this has been just up and up snowy.  No thaws, no issues.  Consistency.  It just goes up, settles, then goes up again.

I hope so.  But we'll need some ice/rainers to really cement that pack and get the heavy heavies.  Hopefully a wild wind event with iced/caked trees end of month, early March

I remember Jan 11 I had about 37" on the roof, and had to dig a path for the oil delivery, it was like fossil digging, you could see each separate snowfall layered as I got to the street, my dogs poop and pee stains like 2' down, it was close to 7' at the street from about 20" near the oil pipe, that was a hard lesson to not let go again, but we got gas now so no worries! but no rainers that month, the Feb 2nd one was wet and the end of it for me anyway.

-16F to 27F today. Feels balmy now. Skiing is epic, only one lift running today but otherwise the ski area is 100% open. It’s nice to see we can still pull off a real winter after the last few. Hoping SNE can cash in too, it’s certainly been a nice season up here and that looks to continue. And I certainly won’t complain if we get an early spring in March/April at this point.
