They used to keep track of depths for the crews etc and said at the office they had 26 inches as best they could tell but he felt it was more just impossible to tell with the winds. And man! The official report for my town has been 28 inches but I'm pretty sure it was a lot more, I remember looking at the streetlight out of our living room and the snow was heavy and sideways. Woke up to the most beautiful sight ever, my car was buried but not like a big hump covering it, it was almost invisible. Please, just one more of those in my life and I'll be happy. WxWatcher007 Posted February 6 Share Posted February 6 And to be clear I think it will be an objectively good stretch, but if we’re talking about getting back in the game to reach seasonal climo we need the 3-6 events to become 5-10, and the 6-12 to become 10-16. I think it’s doable, but warm noses, compression, and light qpf systems are caution flags imo.
