This is true. But it’s always better to take some swings at nice pitches, rather than ones that are way outside, or in the dirt. So maybe we can Jack one of these good looks the F outta here?

I'm pretty skeptical at this point, As you know, If it snows in march and april, I have little use for it other then a stat padder.

Early and mid March is great in the county..so we take for up there.  But the good look I was referring to was for mid Feb..so that was where my analogy came in.

Not always, Last year it was not, We had warm temps and crossing were down to dirt and lots of standing water were the complaints i got, Sun angle plays a role at that point as the high ground takes a beating, This last part, Not so much in the county but in NW Maine it does.

Yes, Last year was a friek up there. The year before(‘23) they killed it in March, I was there the 3/30 through 4/2 with tremendous conditions, and cold temps.  So it usually is very good up there in mid March most years.  Just like anything else, sometimes things don’t work out. But most times they do.
