stormy
My 3 model blend increased from 3.1" at 8 am to 4.0 at 2 pm. GFS increased from 4.6" to 6.2" , Euro 2.6 up to 3.8. CMC ens. 2.0". 3 - 5 seems reasonable for the Central Valley at this point.

It's close honestly on whether there is any more or less or whether it moved. I could be wrong either way, but not by much.

Looks like a fun storm nw of the area. As one who is squarely between north and south...I have no clue which side of this I end up on. See, most of you are either north or south; Baltimore City is neither and sometimes too south for north and north for south! Last time I missed the heavier stuff with the northern crew...

During Jan 6 storm with light snow at 29F, plowed sections of parking lots and streets and my shoveled sidewalks and driveway melted that afternoon prior to the late afternoon/evening ULL snow. Granted, I had episodes of filtered sunlight. But if we get a .3" qpf storm and warm ground leading in, my expectations are very low. But, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised by qpf rates for once. Ellinwood
Snow forecast for Sunday. South side dealing with marginal surface temps and there could be accumulation issues if the rates aren't good enough during the daylight hours. QPF also a concern across the whole region as it will depend on coastal strength and track. 23 1 1
