Not to mention this is falling in the afternoon with max solar insolation.  .3" QPF, even if we get it, is going to be a very minor event.  Honestly, not getting the enthusiasm for this system.  But, as always, hoping for the best.

The sun is still in the off position and 30-32 with steady snow won’t fritter away

Congrats northern fokes. I guess it's only fair since you all missed the last one. Looks like a fun storm nw of the area.

Watch this be that event which juices up and gets colder last minute then the watch is expanded to the next tier of counties SE.

I kind of think we'll get a watch too, but as a separate statement.

I think unless euro and/or GGEM jump on board with giving us 5”+, they’ll just give us a WWA along with the rest of the LWX zones.

Ground temps are below 34 degrees at most locations. This isn't a setup where it's 60 degrees the day before and we're waiting to cool the ground off.

Nice. Makes sense, the wetter this storm the more NW pull you’ll probably see.

.

It's close honestly on whether there is any more or less or whether it moved. I could be wrong either way, but not by much.

As one who is squarely between north and south...I have no clue which side of this I end up on. See, most of you are either north or south; Baltimore City is neither and sometimes too south for north and north for south! Last time I missed the heavier stuff with the northern crew...

Percentage wise for outside the beltway I’ll go

0-2”:10%
2-4”-50%
4-6”-25%
6”+-15%
