Canadian suite has done well with this. It’s shown a hit in sine fashion for 4+ days . As Will mentioned.. ensembles don’t handle fropa waves well and to use op. Walt feeling steadfast that NYC sees 1-5” is all folks should need

Vort on euro travels right over SNE so there’s plenty of opportunity to bring a nice stripe over the region. The key is don’t let the trough get too rounded which has happened on these 18z runs. Keep it just a smidge sharper and that has nice fronto band written on it.

When I was a kid listening for school closings on potential snow days (which were far more rare despite some great snow years in the mid to late 1950s), I always heard Metuchen schools but missed Teaneck.  The alternative way was a firehouse siren.

heh  the reason for the always miss frustration is just a numbers game - 

when threading needle patterns the margins are very narrow. which means  the odds of any given location become unfavorable. 

not getting events is just the odds playing out for the pattern 

if you need to be frustrated, the real frustration should be in why this pattern keeps repeating every year regardless of variant leading indicators
