90% sleet and 10% snow. Has been this way in Holly Springs since it started.

Now at sleet and freezing rain in salisbury (north of town)  temp still at 27

A period of heavy snow has added an inch in the past hour.  2 inches total in Lewisville, NC.  

My weatherunderground.com forecast moved up from 2.9 to 4.9 in the past hour.

Pretty much all sleet here for the past hour, has gotten heavy under the heavier returns.

Heard from a friend south of Lenoir they have switched back over to Snow so hoping that happens here before what I can see is the backend of the moisture already

Almost all snow with big flakes in Raleigh now

Massive snowflakes the past 30 minutes. Recorded 0.5" about 20 minutes ago.

As of 7 PM here just NW of RDU:
Wet bulb temp of 26.5°F

2.1” of snow/sleet at ATL and 0.25” of freezing rain so far.

Sleeting lightly for about an hour.  Has picked up tp moderate sleet.  Zero dendrites.

What a shame.  Just went from heavy snow to sleet / snow mix.  At same time...weatherunderground.com moved me up to 5.4 inch projected snow accumulation.

One of my old old snow weenie mentors back in DC used to always say “be close enough to the line that you can smell the raindrops” and it’s true. Fine line between winning and losing.

Still all sleet .. been that way since about 5:45pm.

Almost running out of moisture , not sure if we will see anything from what's entering the mountains over here, but if its more sleet.. please no.

Snow has definitely lightened up in NW Wake County. It was really beautiful for awhile!

Lots of ice mixed in with the snow in Hillsborough, kind of feels like it’s turning into an ice storm.

Back to mostly sleet in Raleigh. Definitely rate dependent.
