Yeah that's what I saw as returns disappeared for me, it was still snowing just very lightly with small flakes, however heavier bands are working up the valley and I'm on the edge of heavier precip and flakes are starting to get bigger now.  Looking forward to those heavier returns.  Got 1.5 inches currently all of just that really light stuff from when it started.

Yeah my temp increased up to 29 just before it began snowing but since it started temps have fallen, back down to 26.

The snowhole was strange because it stayed thickly cloudy and still snowed moderately with 1/2 mile vis, but the flakes as noted by Holston, Shocker and Shawn, were just very tiny.

I think I might be. Flakes have turned almost microscopic and slowed WAY down east of Kingston. Still at a light dusting. Now MRX is forecasting 1 to 3 inches here. Arrgghh

THE HAMMER HAS DROPPED. We're nearly 2 hours ahead of schedule. The ceiling fell fast with column saturating quick starting with moderate rates and small flakes. It is currently 23F with a dp of 18.

Flake size increases nicely in the heavier returns.  Up to nickels with occasional goose feathers.  This is definitely going to speed up accumulations.

Don't know why they would lower your totals they kept mine at 3 to 4 both today and another 2 to 4 tonight. We are in a little lul but better returns are coming up the valley

It started snowing in Oak Ridge, TN around 10:45am. Very fine flakes but steady. I'd consider what we have on the ground to be a heavy dusting.

Here in Smyrna I’d say we will get maybe to 3”.  Definitely underperforming for what was called.

 Still snowing 3 miles WNW of bolivar.  Flake size was very fine for the first 5-6 hours, changed over to nickel sized flakes about 2-3 hours ago
