Yep, soon as it crosses it flips. Goose feathers right before the change. Coker creek went up 11° and rain soon as it crossed.

Haven’t been able to watch radar trends…is that line still moving north still?

Yes. And pretty rapidly at the moment. Looks like it's moving through around one county per hour. It could stall out at some point though.

Those great returns coming up the valley are the melting line. That's the transition to sleet. Enjoy those big flakes, they don't have long left.

Yep I’m afraid you are correct, It completely stopped snowing

That boundary coming north seems to be slowing a bit.

Further north it travels the more resistants it meets. I don’t think it makes it north of 40 but it’s already further north than expected

Not much overhead on any surrounding radar sites but getting hands down the best rates of the day.

Good to know that new break in MRX radar isn't dry. Was worried you and John were about to get cut again. I'm finally in the old dry slot but it's been consistent light snow since the first moderate wave passed.

HRRR shows it getting to LaFollete, not sure if it gets that far. Whoever is just on north side of where it stalls is in for a good round of feathers if the moisture doesn't shut off first.

I was literally about to say whoever ends up just north of the stall point is gonna be getting up to 2” per Hr rates.

Definitely coming down good in Oak Ridge.

I'm in Oak Ridge too and it's really coming down at a good rate and accumulating. I'm thinking we have about 2 inches but not sure. If I weren't watching Gunsmoke right now (and constantly looking out the window at the same time lol) I'd get off my lazy butt and get outside with my ruler.

This snow is beautiful!!
